This tutorial teaches how to use the Saved Viewpoints, Selection Tree, Comments, and Properties panels. It also reviews how to hide and unhide model elements. Autodesk viewers let you view a wide variety of design files, including DWG, DWF, DXF, RVT, IPT and more. Select a free viewer by file type. Go to Navisworks Freedom (US site) Moldflow files. Share and view MFR Moldflow files with manufacturing personnel, suppliers, and external customers.

• Install this plugin. And then open Navisworks. In the Ribbonbar you will see plugin tab. Load any model, set view (this view will be the initial view in VR) and click on 'Export' button. Autodesk Navisworks Freedom is the free viewer for NWD (Navisworks drawing file) and DWF (Autodesk Design Review) file formats. Navisworks doesn’t create models but it combines them and allows them to be viewed and navigated, measured and analyzed, all together in one environment.

Before we can do anything in Navisworks we need a model. Each trade or each design team member makes his own model and they do that with their own software. Each one of this software has their own proprietary format. Navisworks takes all those different formats (CAD/BIM data) and puts them together into one model.

Navisworks Freedom is one of three versions of Navisworks (the others are Simulate and Manage). It allows you to view, navigate, measure and section a model that has been compiled. Navisworks Simulate does everything that Freedom does but it also allows you to do quantity takeoff, put annotations, save viewpoints and export combined models. Naviswork Manage is the highest version and it does everything Freedom and Simulate does plus it adds the ability to do clash detection and clash management.
