Chip%27s Challenge
Chip's Challenge is one of the most innovative strategy games ever released for any system. Unlike some puzzle games, this title offers a wide range of tasks to perform and goals to reach, and all. Chip's Challenge is a top-down tile-based puzzle video game originally published in 1989 by Epyx as a launch title for the Atari Lynx.It was later ported to several other systems and was included in the Windows 3.1 bundle Microsoft Entertainment Pack 4 (1992), and the Windows version of the Best of Microsoft Entertainment Pack (1995), where it found a much larger audience. Chip's Challenge is a strategy game where you control a boy named Chip who must explore a map and find microchips to place them into sockets to reach the next level. Each map is filled with an assortment of hazards like locked doors, conveyor belts, fires, pits, and monsters. Chip desperately wants to join gorgeous Melinda's exclusive Bit Busters Computer Club, and he's ecstatic when she offers him membership! But there's a catch - before Chip can become a card-carrying Bit Buster, he must complete Melinda's challenge. Over 140 levels of fun and fast puzzling action!
Chip's Challenge is Chip McCallahan, the hero of the video game Chip's Challenge. It is a top-down, tile-based puzzle game, where Chip must successfully solve the puzzle of each stage, to eventually prove he's smart enough to join the Bit Buster's Club, and win the heart of his love, Melinda The Mental Marvel. HARD Levels
The normal level sequence contains only 132 levels (one exclusive to the NES port), plus 4 secret levels. That leaves 13 levels from the original game inaccessible.
Entering the password HARD takes the player to Forced Entry, from which they can access the other removed levels. Forced Entry, Blobnet, Mishmesh, Scavenger Hunt, On the Rocks, Slo Mo, Cityblock, Colony, Icehouse, Block N Roll, Blobdance, Pain, Yorkhouse.
Level Skip
Before moving Chip in a level, press A to skip to the next one or B to go back to the previous one.
